Jazz Levels 6, 7 and PP1

Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 PM with David Smithey

Levels 6, 7, and PP1 Jazz will give students an opportunity to push themselves technically while further developing their performance range and individual artistic voice. The warm-up and progressions will use classic jazz technique to develop students' musicality, athleticism, alignment and performance. Students will use this technical base to explore a variety of jazz styles, including classical, musical theater, jazz funk and lyrical/contemporary. All Jazz classes culminate with a showcase performance in May.
