Ballet Level 2 C

Tuesdays 4:15-6:15 PM | Fridays 4:15-6:00 PM
Instructors: Gabrielle Johnson and Janina Falik

(Ages 8+ by placement) Boys and girls are invited to Ballet Level 2 after they have demonstrated a full understanding of the previous level. Body alignment, muscle awareness and focus will determine progress. Ballet Level 2 students explore expanded skills in the fundamentals of ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology, musicality and imaginative artistry while increasing movement, strength and flexibility. Second year Ballet Level 2 students add Conditioning to their curriculum to enhance muscle awareness and core strength.  

Students will be introduced to tap technique and terminology as they build their skills in musicality, sound clarity, speed, and style. Tappers can expect to learn double and triple time steps, 3 & 5 beat riffs, turns, and intricate rhythms. This fun and immersive class will help your student become more well-rounded as they continue to advance through the Academy’s levels and associated curriculum. All Tap classes culminate with a showcase performance in May.

2-Pay Plan: Enroll in bi-annual auto-pay with credit/debit card - Processing Fee: $20; Can be charged on 1st of Month or 15th of Month. All program fees and 50% of tuition balance due upon registration. Remaining balance to paid in November 2022 and will be charged to the card provided.

5-Pay Plan: Enroll in a 5-month auto-pay with credit/debit card – Processing Fee: $50; Can be charged on 1st of Month or 15th of Month. Initial payment plus all fees due upon registration. The remaining balance will be divided into 4 payments which will be withdrawn as close as possible to the 1st or the 15th of the month starting in August 2022 and concluding in November 2022.

10-Pay Plan: Enroll in a 10-month auto-pay with credit/debit card - Processing Fee: $100; Can be charged on 1st of Month or 15th of Month. Initial payment plus all fees due upon registration. The remaining balance will be divided into 9 payments which will be withdrawn as close as possible to the 1st or the 15th of the month starting in August 2022 and concluding in April 2023.
